Synopsis

The Advanced BGP course is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the Complex aspects of BGP, the Protocol that supports the Global Internet Routing Infrastructure. This course will cover Advanced Concepts, Configurations, and Operational Practices essential for managing and optimizing BGP in large-scale Networks, including Internet Service Providers (ISPs), Data Centers, and Enterprise Networks.

Target Audience

The target audience for an Advanced BGP Workshop typically includes the Network Engineers and Administrators, Network Architects, System Administrators, IT Professionals, Data Center Operators, Cloud Network Engineers, Network Security Specialists, Students and Researchers.

Pre-requisites

The audience must have a basic understanding of Network Operations, Internet Technologies, OSI Reference Model and TCP/IP Model, and a good understanding of any IGP typically OSPF. In addition, the participants should be able to:

  1. 1. Use a Command Line Interface (CLI) to configure Routers.
  2. 2. Basic MikroTik Command Line (CLI) Skills.
  3. 3. Considerable knowledge of MikroTik RouterOS v7.
  4. 4. Basic understanding of Linux Platform.
